Hello Friends, I unsubscribed when I left for deer hunting. In all the hustle and bustle when I returned I did not re-up again. How sad is that. Just proves I'm really senile. A week after our return we left again. When we came home last night I was amazed how few messages there were. Took several hours before the light came on and the brain started working again. I think its time to worry about me!! But I'm back and I really have thought of you folks, wondering how the weather is. Any later word on our Bernie, how Junebug is doing and on and on. We have made a choice that hurts, but we will not be making the trip back this fall. Its just too late to chance the weather between here and there.I am saddened about it, but I believe it is truly the wisest. We both agree, and the kids on the coast wanted to have their Dad there with them for his birthday. So that put another delay on the trip , but they certainly deserved having him there all healthy after how he was his last birthday. Anyway dear people, keep the light in the window, the good Lord willing and the creek don't rise, we'll be there in the spring. Yes I know that is "storm time", but June I just may crawl in your hidey hole with you guys. Bye for now, Pat
Pat! about time you wake up from your dream.Ha! that is ok about forgetting i can't even remeber from one day to another.Glad you all had a good trip and you haven't missed much off the list for things have really been quiet. Come on over next spring and we will hit the fraidy hole if we need to (knock on wood) but haven't been in it all summer. got out there and swept and cleaned it out and left the door open to air out, for they were talking severe weather, but thank God it missed us this time, but hit some othe states. Thundered ,lightened, and blew bad this morning abt 3:00 am but went on through real fast. We are needing rain real bad.The yard is covered in leaves. looking like fall now, and suppose to frost or freeze in a day or so. That will really put the leaves on the ground. Haven't heard any thing from Bern in seveal days. Kathy keeps me informed. i need to e-mail her and see if she has heard lately.
