    3. I'm not sure if anyone knows this lady? Matilda Self md. John D(ouglas?) Axton per: Arkansas Marriages, 1837-1944 www.familysearch.org/beta Groom's Name John D. Axton Bride's Name Matilda Self Marriage Date 08 Oct 1854 Marriage Place Jackson,Arkansas Indexing Project (Batch) Number M58596-1 System Origin Arkansas-ODM Source Film Number 1290121 According to the 1860 census, this Matilda was 23, b. TN. I cannot find her, b. ca 1837, but there was a Matilda b. ca 1830, living with an ?Isaac Self in the 1850 census. I just wondered if any of our SELF researchers might have a clue. Thanks, gen PS: Sorry I haven't been online for a while, dau leaving the military and moving home, moms best friend's husband passed away, and had all the gkids over their fall break. I just haven't had time to do diddly. My house has become a disaster zone, trying to meld the two h/hs. Glad to see everyone seems to be doing fine. HAPPY HALLOWE'EN everybody!
