Ryan Blaine Gifford Post a commentPrint By The Wenatchee World Staff Monday, October 11, 2010 Ryan Blaine Gifford, 31, a lifelong Wenatchee Valley resident, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2010, at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on September 25, 2010. He was born on May 8, 1979, in Wenatchee, the son of Gary Blaine and Cindi Marie (McMoran) Gifford. He was raised and educated in Wenatchee, where he had attended Sunnyslope Elementary, Orchard Middle School and Westside High School. He graduated from Westside High School. He started working for construction companies in the area as a house painter and roofer. He later went to work with his father, at "Gifford Sign and Structure", where he was primarily a painter. He especially loved wakeboarding, snow skiing, hunting with his father, camping, cooking, working on cars and was a big fan of Rock & Roll music. He enjoyed watching the History channel on television, going to the gym and working out and going on trips with his sister and family back east, to the ocean ! and Arkansas. He also dearly loved his sister's dog, Coco. The family would like to especially thank all those who have sent their blessings and prayers. He is survived by his father, Gary B. Gifford of Rock Island; his mother and step-father, Cindi and Ken Hamm of Fresno, CA; paternal grandparents, Bob and Diane Gifford of Melborne, AR; maternal grandmother, JoAnn McMoran of Apache Junction, AZ; his sister and brother-in-law, Nichole and Steve Archer of East Wenatchee; two half-sisters, Anjelica Gifford of Centralia, WA and Andrea Humel of Tri-Cities, WA; one half-brother, Garrett Gifford of Montana; and one niece, Ashley Archer and two nephews, Andrew and Austin Archer, all of East Wenatchee. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gary McMoran. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., at Wenatchee First Assembly of God Church, 1520 McKittrick Street, Wenatchee, with Pastor Jerry Beebe officiating.
