In my Lackey stuff "from Baxter co Beginnings" .I have Martha Emmaline Lackey born Oct 31 1887, at Iuka. Emma was a school teacher, and postmistreee at Iuka. She married Dave C. Killian,the son of William and Jerusha Killian,in 1909. Emma and Dave had 2 children Andy Waid Killian married Pauline Lewis,and Dora Angie Killian who married Spellman Jennings.Dave died 1913.Emma married George Moody in 1928,and thay had a daughter Georgia Lee Moody who married William Robert Wayland Is his the family you are talking abt? Yes, June, this is the same family. My mother was a Jennings and Spellman was her first cousin. So David and I are second cousins. Spellman was a great influence on me to do my family genealogy, he had loads of information on our early family and was so good to share it with me. His half-brother Carl was also a great help as he had all the church records from Caney Springs. (Carl was Ina's Uncle as well). After Spellman and Dora moved to Viola, we didn't see nearly as much of them as we would have liked, but we kept in touch through the years.
