June or anyone, I could use some help. I'm posting the photo for Ed and Eva Gillihan on Find A Grave and I've got info that doesn't jive. Don't have his obit but here's her's. Info on Rootsweb shows his name as Thomas Edmon Gillihan. Marriage ceriticate shows T. E. Gillihan 19 from Jumbo md 13 Dec 1896 in Izard County Eva Hoon 19 of Jumbo This obit shows her maiden as Hume and he is Edward L. also the marriage date is listed as 1890. Every where I look her maiden name is different. Huhn - Hoon - Hume what is correct ? Oct 8, 1954 – Mrs Ed Gillihan Dies Saturday at Age of 77 Mrs Eva Josephine Gillihan, a resident of this county the greater part of her life died at the home of a daughter in Batesville, Saturday night at the age of 77. She had been in failing health for several months. Mrs Gillihan (nee Hume) was born at Versailles, Mo., and came to Arkansas as a child. On December 13,1890 she was united in marriage to Ed L. Gillihan. She returned here several months ago after spending some time in the state of Washington for benefit of her health. She was a devout member of the Church of Christ and had been since early in life. She was known to a large circle of friends in this section. Surviving are her husband, Edward L. Gillihan; two sons, Jasper Gillihan of Richland, Wash., and Clarence Gillihan of Detroit, Mich.; four daughters, Mrs J. Orville Cheney of Calico Rock, Mrs Clarence Williams and Mrs Ernest Briscoe of Batesville and Mrs Guy Lancaster of Mtn. View, and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church here at 2:00 p.m. Monday with Rev. Joe Matlock of Hampton officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery, with Hall Funeral Service in charge. Pallbearers were: Victor May, Harold Thomason, A. C. Dixon, Perry Matthews, Gene Williams and Bill Wiseman.
