John Patrick was a first cousin to John Fergurson Montgomery. Their fathers, John and Joseph Wiley were brothers. Jim's gr-gr grandfather Samuel was their brother. Isn't funny how these families keep coming up with new connections? It's a good thing. I was looking at the Bell family that was discused last week, thinking that I didn't have any connection to this family. Then I saw the 2 husband of Becky Bell was John Ferguson Montgomery, a brother to my gr grandmother Elizabeth. There were two other people that I saw, not related to, but knew the families. That is how I began to look at the Montgomerys again.
