Not sure about life span(s) of your relatives that knew the LUTHER girls in two-story house on right side going toward Norfork -  but they may have been personally acquainted with Fern {WOOD(S} FARMER.  She lived a bit further from LUTHER home in white house on left side of road before Norfork.  Fern was mail carrier for more than 40 years, and Matney Township "across White River" was part of route.  They may have known story first-hand! Beth, it came through just fine. Thought I should tell you that Fern {WOOD(S}FARMER had no children.  Don't know about other couple. One of my older first cousins (female) who lived in California was part of "mate swap."  Both men were medical doctors and there were several children.  They were involved socially.  One couple took all of the female children and the other couple took all of the male children.
