Hi Peggy, The one you are thinking about is probably Mary Elizabeth "Betty" McCarty who married Henry Reed Clinkingbeard. Betty is the daughter of Reden McCarty and Sarah Haney. Reden is thought to be an uncle to Larkin McCarty. Henry Reed Clinkingbeard's parents were John Robert Clinkingbeard and Diannah Rimer These families lived in Fulton/Baxter Cos, very near the county line so could be listed in Fulton or Baxter Co.
