Thelma ‘Granny’ Gilstrap Post a commentPrint World staff Saturday, September 25, 2010 Thelma ‘Granny’ Gilstrap Thelma ‘Granny’ Gilstrap, 94, of Rock Island, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2010. She had lived in Rock Island for 10 years. She had harvested and packed fruit in the Wenatchee Valley. Survivors include her son, Cleo Gilstrap of Rock Island; her sister, Vivian Roddy of Mountain Home, Ark.; and her brothers, R.D. Robins of East Wenatchee and Cleo Robins of Wenatchee. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Oct. 2 at Telford’s Chapel of the Valley in East Wenatchee, and a graveside service will be held at noon Oct. 2 at Oxford Cemetery in Oxford, Ark. Arrangements are by Telford’s Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
