    3. Janice & Fern: I tried both suggestions; couldn't find "remove space after paragraph", and when I tried the "Control and 1" it didn't work. I might add that if I am typing a sentence, it automatically goes to the next line and doesn't do the double spacing between lines; but when I am typing a census record and hit "enter", then it does the automatic double space between lines.
