    1. [ARIZARD] [ARIZARD RIDGWAY - McWHERTER / AUSBURN (Marsha / Jim)
    2. PEGGY TRUESDELL
    3. About those given names -  have heard that some originated with Lydia Ann Belle {McWHERTER} RIDGWAY - that she took some from reading novels.  Our original McWHORTERs migrated from Scotland.  I've "scoured" many RIDGWAY records and found name Bonness in families not proved to be related.  Seems name Almus was given to first white child in one of states along the way.  In 1870 census my grandmother (b, 1869) appears as Lavinia A. RIDGWAY.  However, she was called "Agee" which I suspect was nickname for Agnes as her great-grandmother was born Agnes SIMPSON.  She was eldest child and her siblings probably were ones who called her "Agee."  I've had it pointed out in 1970s that AGEE is a Huguenot surname, but so far haven't found it in ancestors. When my niece was first child born to my sister about 1944, my mother quoted my Grandmother KING, who said ... the oldest (daughter, I suppose) would "smell the patchin" -- meaning the work load falls to her.  I'm sure this was Tennessee saying,  My mother faithfully watched "HeeHaw" and I was visiting her and watched with her.  On that show, someone said "strong as Accu 40" and she remembered my grandmother saying that.  She was born at Palmersville in Weakley County and her family didn't come to Arkansas until after 1880.
