    1. [ARIZARD] Kermit Remil Bell past away - Cozort connection?

    3. http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/ARIZARD/2000-05/0959098082 Really old post of Jim and Judy - gives family data. I probably wouldn't have found that if I hadn't been snooping around Morriston Cem on FAG for the past few days. Trying to help distant Cozort cousin fill in family blanks. Anyone research Cozort? They make it more fun by changing the spelling, even in one family to Cozort & Cozart. Cossart, from France, was probably original spelling. Several buried at Morriston Cemetery. 2 census I've been working on are giving me a headache: 1880 Strawberry Twp., Fulton Co., AR census   Surname listed was recorded as Cozart but is probably meant to be COZORT . COZORT, J.C. head,M,male,W,33,MO NC,MO. (born ca 1847) COZORT, Pricilla J. wife,M,F,W,35,MO MOTN. (Born ca 1845) GOODWIN, William A. SSon,S,Male,W,12,MO,At home,MO,MO, (born ca 1868) He is son of Pricilla by a previous marriage? COZORT, Franklin, Son,S,Male,7,AR,MO,MO. (Born ca 1873) COZORT, Chesly H., S,Male,5,AR,MO,MO. ( born ca 1875) COZORT, Florence V., Female,W,2,AR,MO,MO. (born ca 1878) COZORT, dau,S,Female,W,8M  (born ca1879) 1900 Strawberry Twp., Fulton Co., AR census COZORT, James; head,W,M,b.12/1847, 62,mar.,10yrs,MO NC MO (James' age and birthdate are obviously not consistent) ,Mary C. wifeW,F,.1855,44,m,10,_,6(children survived ),MO,TN,MO Robert son,W,M, b.6/1881,19,S,Ar,MO,MO. Dorah J. dau,W,F,b.8/1884,14,S,AR,MO,MO, Lilly P. dau,W,F,b.4/1889,11,S,Ar,MO.MO, Oscar son,W,M,b.8/1893,6,S,AR,MO,MO Maudy N, dau,W,F,b.4/1895,5,S,AR,MO,MO Elmer son , b.9/1896,3,S,.AR.MO,MO Goodwin,Loother, boarder,W,M,b.10/1897, 2, AR,MO,MO James C.COZORT apparently died between 1900 and 1910. James Chesley Cozort is father of Chesley Harrison Cozort 21 SEP 1875 AR-1950 AR Chelsey H. m. Flossie Ida Moser 1876-1900 Chelsey H. and Flossie are buried at Morriston and 2 James Cozorts (?). If James is the same is both census, he married widows both times.  These widows had children with James and brought step-children with them to James household. Priscilla - widow of Arthur Goodwin, brought son William A. Goodwin with her. William is correctly identified as step-son of James in 1880 cenus. Mary Cohorn - maybe widow of Unknown Wagner, brought Robert, Dorah, and Lilly. Luther Goodwin (boarder in 1900 census with James and Mary) is apparently William A Goodwin's orphaned son (WAG killed in NM - construction accident). Recent movie - "It's Complicated" come to mind! These Cozorts link to Armstrong, Bell, Coggins, Lynch, Montgomery, Moser so far. Will send 3 obits in next post. All help welcome.
