    3. I don't have an M. Newt Cooper. I have Marion Cooper 1847 - Bet1907-1910, wife Sarah A. George. His son, Marion Hill Cooper, 1869-1910 - no wife. Does anyone have dates for M. Newt Cooper and a wife or children? I assume the M. stands for Marion. 3. M. Newt Cooper ? ? ? 2 thoughts on this: M. - is for Marion - OR . . . M. - is for Mr. Newt Cooper & typo, left "r" out of Mr. If I were doing this obit, I would use M. N. 'Newt' Cooper if indeed it was Marion Newton Cooper. Just thinking out loud . . . Marsha --- On Sun, 9/19/10, Betty Cavner <bbcavner@sbcglobal.net> wrote: I don't have an M. Newt Cooper. 3. Sarah is my great grandmother but I have never been able to find out, my dad always said it was another Cooper who died in the Civil War, which I could never find any other Cooper that would match. One tree says a Jefferson ,no first name, I could never find any proof on that either. She married James Calvin Bray and in in some newspaper clippings she is called Mary Cooper Bray.
