    3. The bird's are bad to fly into our sliding glass dooor. one hit the door yesterday evening and fell on the floor, and Ed went out picked it up and help it to get going. They kill their selves now in then, but most the time they just knock ther self goofy for a while. Should be leaving in a week or so. 1. [ARIZARD] "Off Subject" - hummers
    2. Marsha Boles
    3. Saw great special about hummers on PBS a couple of weeks ago. This special said there is a change in their migration (to Central America). Because folks are leaving multiple feeders out year long, they may go south but turn around and come right back. The zone these little guys are mostly coming back to is a wide swath along TX/LA coast then slightly up Mississippi River. Maybe I secretly felt this and for the past few years have been leaving the feeder even after it gets cold. Maybe it laziness too.  I always seem to have just filled it up just before they leave. We only have 3 in our back yard.  Seems the pair have had one chix this year.  Boy, the dad is mean to the youngster! Dad let the little guy have the feeder for a couple of weeks and now dive-bombs him every he tries to feed. Dad even perches around the yard, waiting to buzz the little guy and chase him out of the yard. Junior is getting smarter and faster and getting to feed more lately.  I thought dad was gonna starve him to death for a while and mom just disappeared after showing Jr. the feeder. Amazing little critters!
