Try this: (1) Do "Search" for familysearch.org (2) On left side, Under "What's New" (3) Select:  "See prototype for searching millions of records" (4) Prototype appears - Save it to your "Favorites" Select "Event" and select Type of Record.  If you have someone in Texas, try a Death Record.  Arkansas doesn't have them yet, but have Marriage Records.  If you know county name, type (for example) Izard, Arkansas, United States.  Enter name and "Search."
