    3. Morning everyone! having coffee with me or what ever you prefer?I have been setting in living room watching 4 deer eating in the back yard.looked like all doe's 2 of them were abt half grown. It is deer season, so i figure we won't be seeing our big buck's that are here alot. also a fox went through just below the yard in edge of wood's. We don't see many squirrels since we stopped feeding on the poarch, and we have 2 cats around. In fact one is laying here under a chair taking a nap. he is a stray or possibly a neighbors cat. Guess it being cooler he is enjoying the heat after a big meal. One is Jan's cat, but she stays around alot with us. It is suppose to turn real cold for Thanksgiving they say. It is only 41 out now. We got a little showers along, but still need rain.NO snow,or ice.never won't that again. Don't know just yet what we are doing Thanksgiving. If the grandchildren don't come up on Thurs they will be here on week end, so we may go to Karen's on Thur. Maybe we will find out by the week end. Ha! She cooks the turkey and i will probably bake the ham. Ed and i don't like turkey. I rather bake a hen instead of turkey. We like chicken about any way you cook it. Ed likes ham any time. Try to keep our freezer stocked all the time. it was full when the ice storm came, but thank goodness we got our generator and saved every thing. Take care and God Bless every one especially the service folks that can't be home for the Holidays. Love Junebug

    3. Mornin' Too nippy for more than a sip of coffee on the back porch.  Found out why birds are scare at the feeders so much lately, a hawk is new to the neighborhood. Went out to get the mail late one aft'n and hawk was dining on fresh squirrel by the sidewalk! Beautiful statuesque creature about 30 feet from the door. Not at all intimidated by my watching, getting the mail, and calling mom to the door too. We got to enjoy him for about 10 minutes before he flew off to the pin oak cross the street with his meals tail wagging in the breeze. This is urban Memphis! I would trade my hawk story for your deer on the lawn anytime. Guess I will take what I can get. Give thanks for what I have. Turkey or ham - green beans or brussels sprouts? 3. Thanks Marsha for your responce. We to have hawks all over the place. When we used to feed the squirrels on the poarch the hawks were all over the place. you could hear them abt any time you was out side some place. We have woods around 3 sides of us ant across the road some cleared land but what few trees are left they stay around in. Yes, "yum""yum" sounds good.we need to be thankfull that we can have a choice what to eat and that we have something to eat, for alot of families has to go with out,and be happy to have just any thing. What a wonderfull place we do live in. Getting to be alot of "crime" all over. Take care.Love June ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marsha Boles" <marshab52@yahoo.com> To: <arizard@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, November 20, 2010 8:23 AM Subject: [ARIZARD] Morning "off subject" - episode II > Mornin' > Too nippy for more than a sip of coffee on the back porch.
