Hi, A quick note. I don't have time right now to study page by page but have a hint or two. Back in that time it was customary to write a double s in a word or name as p. So session looked like sepion. The Ross family name appeared as Rop. The Gault name Is the correct spelling there. I even found that my mother's name Elsie had been spelled Elzy. And no, I have no pictures, inside or out, but would hope there are some in existence somewhere. I have a vague memory of a single large dark room with some sort of lamp hanging from the ceiling. Probably be outside since there was no flash? I have 2 family pictures that might have taken there. It's "rough". I'll put the "polish" on it when I'm finished with the transcription. I wanted to ask if anyone [ everyone ] could look it over and see that I have the names right so far. It seems there are two kinds of penmanship in this world. Ornate but nearly undecipherable and a scribble [ mines the latter ]. This isn't so bad, but the changes in style over the years make it hard to decipher some characters. I would like to make sure I get the names right. *<]:o) Also, if anyone has any pictures of the church or people involved that they would like to submit to go along with the page it would be a nice addition. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~arizartp/prosperity_test1.html -- "A good moral character is the first essential in a man."
