    3. I want to hand off some flowers to Marsha Boles. She is also transcribing the pages and updating the spelling and syntax to something more modern. It will be a lot easier for researchers to read and understand. I want to publicly thank her for her hard work and help with this project. The "historian" in me felt that a transcription as near as can be done in the original was important also. When the project is finished there will be the original transcription, the modernized transcription and images available. Three ways to read it. If someone wants the image for their own records they can just download the pages they want to keep. 3. To everybody studying the Prosperity Church record, I now have my photo copy on my desk, and lots of family records, so if you run into any problem maybe I can be of some help. Who's who, and all that.. Earlier I tried to send information on a published book about another congregation of the same families who settled in central Arkansas along the Arkansas River. "They Sought a Land" a settlement in The Arkansas River Valley 1840-1870 by William Oates Ragsdale. Published by University of Arkansas Press, Fayetteville, Arkansas 1997 My copy was ordered from Barnes & Noble $16.80 I am so glad there are so many interested in preserving our early history. Any one have a suggestion about where I should ultimately leave all my collection? I am 87, no descendants... What about the regional museum in Batesville? Names are most difficult.  Think it would be especially nice to get full names, especially of the ministers/pastorsIf you know names for initials, would be fine simple memorial to get our ancestors names portrayed accurately (maybe in Index form)  . . .  Marsha Need definitive spelling for Nesbitt and Moffatt - and others Rev. G.W. Hanna Rev. J.C. Holemon a Baptist minister( or is it Coleman ?) Rev. M.T. Ellis  & Clerk Rev. J.A. Smith Rev. J.W. McCain Rev. J.C. McDonald        Rev. J.W. McLean - sometimes McLean Rev. M.L. Wilson Mr. Thomas Cochran Dr. James Cooper, Elder  (son John Cooper ) Thomas Union Chesnut, Elder William R. Chesnut, Elder & Clerk & family W. L. Chesnut,  Clerk M. L. Chesnut W.Z. Chesnut M.T. Ellis W.A. Gault, Elder Mr. John Harris, Elder – Treasurer James C. Harris Brother R.P. Johnson, Elder (is he maybe retired minister too ?) W.P. McLain Mr. James Montgomery , Sr.( Joseph, James, John Samuel, William, and Hannah) J.H.C. Nisbett  - son  John C. Nesbitt, Clerk Mr. S.P.D. Nisbett William. H. Nisbett, clerk A.V. Paden , Clerk C. H. Paden, Clerk Jojn H. Paden R.B. Paden  - R. R. Paden, deacon Are these 2 Padens same fella? If this is your family consider giving further information: Example: (fictitious) Samuel Montgomery, son of James Montgomery, Sr. & Marsha Unknown Montgomery Later this could be helpful Baptismal records.
