How many Listers received this from someone who has participated on our List?  This is the second one I have received (from two different people).  I consider this "ABUSE" and have sent our List Mom a copy of this message.  I hope she bans them from the List. As Glenda said, this was spam, and not from a particular list member. I would say that if you have any doubts, never click on any link that you don't know. I don't know how we are getting spammers through to our list, but I noticed some in the bounced messages who were definitely companies trying to get their product advertisements over to the list. It's a constant fight to keep the creeps from messing up a good thing! I got the same thing from the same person, but did not click on the website. I tried to do some searches on some of the letters, with no success. Before we start calling for people to be banned from the list, please consider that the person's address book may have been hacked. It has happened to several people I know. Facebook and other social networking sites are some of the best (or worst) places to have this happen. Peggy, I suspect that Joy doesn't even know about this. I have no idea what the website is but I would suspect that her email list has been corrupted. Have a feeling she has come across a great big oops!!!!! Whenever I get things like this without any explanation, even though I know the person I do not open the site. I truly have been stung too many times! Do update your protection! It seems these new ones crop up everyday! And if people travel with their laptops like I do lots of times, you really have to get additional protection for your use of WiFi, there is a situation called side-jacking (I believe it is?) that is particularly dangerous for any of your password and user designation so please be----aware. Some of these things are especially dangerous when you use facebook and some of the other social networks (which I don't). Please everyone, update your protection!
