I have been using their system, too, Peggy. My time has been very limited this year and I'm thrilled with what I have in my files--not near as much as a lot of people, but for me, it's a lot! I began about 2002 so I got a late start on genealogy as well as other things! I have uploaded photos and want to add many more, maybe at least one for every person for which I have/get a photo. And, of course, several for my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. The convenience of the Ancestry system finding information is awesome--not all the offers 'hints' fit one's individual but those can quickly be ruled our or called a possibility maybe leading to more info. The real clues outnumber the unreal clues a lot!! Just thought I'd add my wooden nickel's worth! Putting my information on trees has helped me a great deal. Most every day they notify me of new records they have found for an individual. I believe the $19.95 per month that is automatically charged to my checking account is well worth it. On my next birthday will be 74, so want to get my information "out there." My daughter (48) was always bit resentful of my ancestry searching, so I did her tree. It is amazing how much I've been able to find. Most of her ancestry is Northeast and in just few months have most lines back to 1600 and 1700s. I've collected information since mid-1970s, spending many days and evenings in the library. Some days would not find anything. Ancestry has helped me accomplish so much more. Just thought I'd put in my two cents. A few weeks ago some of us were discussing Ancestry, the pros and cons. Someone said they had just subscribed, but was able to get a cheaper rate than was shown on the screen. I can't remember now who it was saying this, but said you had called and had received this rate. I do remember it wasn't the same number as what I saw when I looked at the screen. Now I can't find the e-mail, and I was going to give myself a Christmas present and order this tonight. Does any of this make sense to anyone?? I hope all of you had a nice Thanksgiving. We had our first snow, but it wasn't a lot, so we are thankful for that. I can always go check the archives, just thought someone might know the answer to this, but don't spend time nor energy looking for it. That's my job friends. Thanks for listening, everyone have a good evening.
