It is from the Fed 1930 census. Just thought that you would like to know. 3. I have tried to place this Kitt Porter Rose in my wife's family and I believe this person is the same as Christopher Porter "Kitt" Rose b. 4 Jan 1840 d. 13 Mar 1919 Jackson Co. MO. He was married to Emily Jane Younger. His parents, and I am still working to prove this were Thomas Lewis Rose b. 1797, Lexington, KY, d. 29 Mar 1864 KY, and Margaret "Peggy" Kirkpactrick b. 1803, Fayette, KY. d. Aft. 1860, probably at Hazel Hill, Johnosn, MO. So to your question, I believe in this case the real name probably was Christopher, although in all census etc. he is listed as Kitt.
