    3. I have some connections with this family, and have spent the past hour making sure my files were correct. This William L. Gaston was the son of William Lionel "Lone" Gaston and Mary Elizabeth "Mary Bet" Waggoner. Mary Bet was the daughter of Robert Lee Waggoner and Henrie D. Puckett, Mary was the sister of Robert E. "Bob" Waggoner of Violet Hill, who married my Cousin Vesta Ellen Blevins. The 1930 Census shows "William L. Gaston, 44,; Mary B. 21, and Johny (sic) Sue, age 2 plus "Not Named", 2/12 F The 1920 census shows "Waggoner, Lee R", age 39....Henry D, age 32.... Mary E. , age 11 and Robert E., age 9 The news release shows his parents as M/M W. A. Gaston and the next week they list them as Mr/Mrs William L. Gaston in the obit. The obit also lists him as William Lytle Gaston, Jr, the cemetery book lists the father as William Lionel "Lone" Gaston. There are also some age discrepancies in the various census records. Sorry to muddy the water, but these discrepancies do creep in.....Harold B -------------------------------------------------- From: "Vera Reeves" <velane@centurytel.net> Sent: Thursday, November 18, 2010 11:06 AM To: <arizard@rootsweb.com> Subject: [ARIZARD] Gaston obit > Melbourne Times > > Mar 24, 1960 - Wm.
