Peggy, Michelle picked the name Finley out of the little book I wrote about my great grandparents Russell C Haley and Dorinda Elizabeth "Betty" Pendleton. After she name Finley I had to dig a little bit deeper into the Finley family and discovered so many connections to my Haley, Pendleton, Williams and Tolleson families that Finley has definitely become " Family Name". Finley's name was a secret from me until the day he was born, she said that since I already knew it was a boy, there had to be some surprise at his birth. The whole nine months she was pregnate I called him "Oliver". Drove her nuts, He is 3 now and every now and then I slip and call him Oliver. o:) In the morning I am getting on a plane to meet Tyler, I can hardly wait.
