I better get another cup of coffee. I spelled the man's name wrong. It should be Anderson Dock Russell not Alexander. Sorry > Pat > > A. D. Russell 23 > m. 20 Feb 1896 Baxter County > S. E. Sarah "Sallie" (Cabe) Russell's info that I have. Compared these dates with Kermit last week. He has the same info. She was born 1897 in Haywood Co, NC and died September 08, 1890 in Baxter County, Arkansas. Her father of Zachariah Cabe. She married James Russell, father of John M. Russell on 29 Oct 1823. In 1880 census she is enumerated with grandchildren, William (Head), Thomas and Leannah. Pat, In the message below, I'm sure you didn't mean the lady was: born 1897 ? ? died 1890 md 1823 in 1880 census ====================== > Sarah "Sallie" (Cabe) Russell's info that I have. > Compared these dates with Kermit last week. Vera, Kermit says he agrees that is probably Anderson's first wife. They had 4 young children when she died. I don't know about spelling for this first one. He pronounced it like: Adra--with a long 'a' sound at the front, like aid. Claude who married a Ruth. Claude had a son named Charlie who died in Kansas in the last year or so. Dora--he didn't tell me anything about her. And Charlie--due to Sarah's death, Tom and Sally raised Charlie. This Charlie married a Sherry Thompson. These may not be spelled exactly right but maybe someone knows them??
