Rhudene Floyd Post a commentPrint By The Wenatchee World Staff Sunday, December 12, 2010 Rhudene Floyd, a longtime Wenatchee Valley resident, was born to Elbert King (E.K.) Richardson and Nora (Burton) Richardson in Pineville, AR on May 26, 1920. She passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2010. She was married to B. Doyle Floyd on December 2, 1939, and they celebrated 71 years of marriage this month. Rhudene was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Doyle; one son, Terry (Marlene) Floyd; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Jack Richardson; and one sister, Murdene Warnett. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Doyle, Jr., in 1942, and another son, Michael, in 1998; four sisters; and three brothers. Services will be held on Monday, December 13, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. at Telford's Chapel of the Valley. Services will conclude at the funeral home, with a Private Interment at Evergreen Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee. ShareComment
