Merry Christmas from snowy North Alabama, awoke this morning to a softly falling wet snow, sure was beautiful and looked so peaceful. It has about stopped for the moment. I found my old snow shovel, (which doesn't get much use here) and cleaned off the patio and a path to the street. The snow is very wet and heavy, you just have to push it aside, too heavy to lift. We got about 2 inches, but the lawns and streets underneath are probably warmer and there will be some melting. Problem is, supposed to get down to 28 tonight, so if it melts today and re-freezes tonight, travel may be a problem in the morning. But I wasn't planning any long trips anyway, church is just a mile away and would be about it for us. But just want to say I love and appreciate you all, couldn't ask for a better bunch of folk to correspond with and wish a very MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of you and your families.......Harold Blevins, Huntsville Alabama
