They are Polly Couts, wife of James Couts in Hope Cemetery in Lawrence County: http://arkansasgravestones.org/view.php?id=186590 and Mary Alice (Couts) Merchant, on a headstone with James F. Merchant in Phillips (Cave Springs) Cemetery in Benton County. There is an obituary for James F. 3. Lee Anne: This is not some of my relatives but recently I ran across a book which I've had for a long time, and began reading through it (again). It has a lot of good information on my Faulkenberry family, and others, and included was some good information on the Couts family, Simpsons, and Bolands (Bowling, Boling). I think I may have helped someone sometime ago with the Couts family, but didn't send them this information. Thanks for replying. That happens so often its not funny. I'll see mail that you can tell is a definite answer to someone and I've never seen it. At least I know I'm not the only one left in the dark.
