As far as I know, James Brownlow Russell has not yet been connected to the Matthew Russell line. Ina is on the same 'Russell' list that I monitor. They are going very deep with the DNA, etc. I'm at a disadvantage on it as I haven't had a Russell DNA test done due to the male descendant has to do it. Maybe bye and bye one of John M's will come forward. His brother, Anderson P, (a descendant) has had theirs done and so that gives me that we are in a certain group but sure need one from John M's line. Changing the subject for you guys,  but you are related to all the Taylors ,too if you are related to Simpson Pierce Russell--he married Louise Taylor, daughter of William Taylor and Catherine Cornwell,  they had lots of kids,too!  You might want to check it out.  Glenna G.

Hi, Elveta, My Taylor  ancestors srart with Catherine Jane Taylor who married George Stroud Cantrell, then William Taylor 1786 Pendelton Dist. S.C.who married Catherine Cornwell.  Also Lovicy Cantrell married Stokley Morgan Taylor.   There is a book" From Log Cabins to the White  House"  by Mary Taylor Brewer that has alot of Taylor stuff in it.  There are so many Taylors, who knows, you might be related.
