Lee Ann, I must be losing my mind, I gave you the wrong page # again, it is on Page 4, instead of 8. The only thing I can figure out I am doing is being on page 8 when I decied to e-mail you about website, and not checking to see if I had the right one. So sorry for all my mixups. Glenna G.
Porter Waggoner also played at Calico Rock in the old GYM,some time in early 55/58. Did a good show.Charlene
Lee Ann , I ran across this interesting website called Bolers Inn.Ms, I found it under James Boulware on Web Search. It was on page 8, two down from the top by carolshouse. It tells about Boler's Inn and has pics, etc about some Bolers. Which reminds me, Glenda Ramsey, I noticed where you had sent a picture of 4 Bolers, would it be possible for you to scan and sent to me at glennagoodwin @att.net Would appreciate it if you could, Thanks, Glenna Goodwin

Uh Oh . . That was meant to be a private e-mail to Betty. Phone rang and became distracted. Porter Waggoner played Wiseman School House 1950 Are you kidding ! ! ! I have never hear that. All right, Miss Queen of Trivia - bunch of Wagoners around, is he related? --- On Tue, 11/2/10, Betty BB <b-view@centurytel.net> wrote: ... Just so you will know, I am not ignoring you. I DID have all that musical Rhoades family info a few months ago. While it may not be permanently gone - it's been 3 months since all my computer woes began. Withdrawal started much sooner than you would imagine! Essentially, the internet upgrade from Ancestry did NOT either transfer after the clean up or transfer to new computer. I have the file and can't open it. Basically I am starting over from scratch with my original FTM disc. I argued with Ancestry for a while. Their technical support team only responded with computer generated form letter, "we no longer support earlier versions." Not really saying they didn't have what I needed but NOT helpful either. I only wanted what I paid for from them. I missed an opportunity to snag a used copy on Amazon because my small family of techie gurus talked me into getting a bootlegged copy off the internet. Did you know there are at least 18 versions of FTM out there ? ? ? If I ever get the right version, I should be able to open my old treasure chest file! It's trial and error and "my team" is still looking for a pristine copy of what I want. Right now, I have 2 FTM programs on my desktop - my oldie but goodie orginal and one the latest complete version of FTM 9 - near as I can tell, it has all the bells and whistles of the new version 10. I hate it! . . . but 2 weeks ago I started entering data there (figuring I might as well learn). Can't make a book anymore (it's complicated - I used to store things there) and can't get a decent dependency report. I can make dependency reports, but they have so much gooble-d-gook on them, it is nothing you want to use. When you get rid of some crap and re-do, something like default happens and the junk you just got rid of comes back. It has elaborate headers, footers, and dividing lines that take up space and wants to put the date at the end of the page with your name and takes up more space. Not being one to get defeated easily - I have been fussin and cussin this program for 2 weeks. Soo . . . If I ever get back and running . . . will gladly share. Marsha More on the musical Rhoads family: if you can get their legal names, you can find them on FAG. The way I remember - most of them lived over the line in MO and are buried in mostly 2 cemeteries. Speck or just one of the boys is the only one buried in AR. FAG either had their obits or gave good links to the rest of the family. --- On Tue, 11/2/10, Betty BB <b-view@centurytel.net> wrote: Marsha or anyone, Can you give me the Montgomery connect to the Singing Rhoades family.I been told that Dusty and Speck Rhoades mother was a Montgomery from the Wiseman area.Thanks. Lee Ann and Gen, I made a mistake on the site I sent Gen, it was the site on Page 2 ,instead of page 1.--three sites from the top called carols house that I meant to put down. It really has alot of info . Lee Ann, I am glad you found it anyway--sounds like you liked it,too. Glenna Goodwin
H ilist , for those with English ancestors the Yesterdays site has been updated with thousands more names of persons who appear on official documents and who come from all areas of the British Isles. Latest records include a huge amount of Miscellany, including a few for America, Wills, School admissions giving names of pupils and previous schools attended, which can be anywhere within Britain, includes children who emigrated. Transportation of convicts to America and Australia plus much more. Link below, if it fails Google Yesterdays Journey. mike -- http://homepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~spire/Yesterday/index.htm<http://homepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/%7Espire/Yesterday/index.htm>
Hi Glenna, Thanks so much for thinking of me. I have not been on the list for a few days now. I googled Grace Boulware and several websites came up. So I will look at as many as I can tomorrow. Oops! It is already tomorrow. I should have said later today. If you have the URL of the specific one you mentioned, I'd love to have it. I must have missed the e-mail in which you gave it. Have you seen the great research on http://www.carolshouse.com/familyhistory/boler/? Your Grace is on that website also. Wouldn't it be great if we turned out to be Family Finder DNA matches? On her website Carol says, "There can be little doubt that James Boulware who married Agatha Rutherford was a descendant of James Boulware who married Margory Gray. The question is his exact descent. There were a number of descendants of James Boulware bearing the name James who lived in the correct area during the early-mid 1700's. It can be inferred that our James Boulware was probably the one living adjacent to his future father-in-law John Rutherford. The fact that James Boulware was probably a good bit older than his bride fits the age of John Rutherford's neighbor James Boulware..." There's more that you might like to read if you have not already. Lee Anne
