Marsha, if you want to send large files you can go to www.mailbigfile.com. Just below where it says register now you will see a link **Try our free service**. Click on that link and it will take you to a page where you can send large files, up to 100MB. You can also write a message if you want. It sends a link to the person you are sending it to and they can go to that link and download the file. I use it a lot. Thanks Jim, I have some ancestor that use surnames as middle names also, but just unusal to have three given names. But do see where it come from. Speaking of names, your ancestor Ignatious, had an unusal one also. Guess Mary Patterson FERGUSON is connected to the Oxford Fergusons rather than the one in the Myron area or has a connection been made between the two. Appricate you helping me out. Betty BB
Don't remember what I did found out about 'Cher' (that is gone now too). There was enough to find a basis for a link to one of our Izard County families - not that I remember who, where or when now. Our folks sure branched out and got around. Think it is adventurous spirit! I'm in no big rush but since I did a Wiseman History I thought I need to keep adding things that I learn alone the way. I had never heard the story about Porter either until last week. So was checking it out and the time frame. I was told that Porter Waggoner once played music at the School House in Wiseman and after the music show they all went and shivered (not sure I'm spelling this right) Alva and Nancy Duren Langston. This was the reason I was looking for their marriage date (June 25 1950 I was told) to see what time frame that would have been. On the Rhoades family I was wanting to see how much kin they were to your John Pat and to Bertha Montgomery Smith as they are the Montgomery that I think of as connected to Wiseman. I thought I has storied away some Montgomery info but I can't find it either. Oh, and another story that you may not know about Wiseman is that the Crouch family there are connected to Cher, yes The "Cher". It's on her mother's side. I was told, but don't have the details down. If you would allow it I would be happy to post the entire set on an Izard County web site that won't be going away. It will always be available for researchers. Marsha said she might be interested in transcribing and if we work together we can make it searchable as well as the actual images. On 11/03/2010 04:48 PM, Wilma King wrote: > Marsha, Erueka!!!! Marsha, Erueka!!!! I still have the photocopied manuscript in my computer. It took my son Tom to find it for me. It is about 45 megabytes, so entirely too big for email. Robert's website is totally gone, so probably the simple thing to do now is make copies on a disc and send by regular mail. I am hoping to make several copies-so whoever wants one let me know. Thanks, Jim and Wilma for all the Montgomery and Rhodes and other infomation. I will try to see if I can get my head around it all and files away. Jim do you know why Amanda had Patterson in her name? I guess here and James both had 4 word names. Kind of unusal. I see she connect back to your Sophrona you search so long for. Marsha, I didn't think you were ignoring me, just thought you were busy or away or something.
