I have three different types of '?prtotection? services already attached to my computer. For some reason my system just quit recognizing the some of the addresses in my contacts list. Shoot, it even sends all the messages I post to arizard to the spam file, instead of the inbox. ???? Thanks, I will keep this address handy though. May I suggest downloading, installing, and running the free Malwarebytes program: http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html I update and run it almost every day and recently bought the $25 lifetime license for the full version which protects your computer from most threats in real time. Good Morning, Junebug. Such great news about Ed being in remission for four years. So much to be thankful for this year. It's so hard to believe that Thanksgiving will be here next week, and Christmas soon to follow! The years are rolling around way too quickly! :) Computers don't seem to be made to last these days. My Dell is not but about five years old, at the most, and it started out with a glitch to begin with. I don't know why I buy extended warranties, because I never seem to get around to using them, before they expire. Hope your computer lasts a lot longer....if you are like most of us, you would rather be able to use the money elsewhere! Have a good day. Hope it's sunny outside there in AR. We have a beautiful clear day here, just a little colder than I would like! Jean At 09:14 AM 11/19/2010, you wrote: >Morning!! My coffee break came late.Hope you joined me. Marsha, Your getting there, but if you come back by Oxford from Salem, you go south on Hwy 9 to Oxford. At Oxford you would turn left onto Hwy 354 to go to Wiseman. Hwy 354 runs from Oxford through Wiseman to the 4 way stop in Horseshoe Bend. Hwy 289 starts at Franklin and goes to Glencoe. The two intersect at the 4 way stop. Confusing I know. Some time when your up we will waste that tank of gas and I will show all these roads. Happy Thanksgiving. U R A doll, BBB, thanks. So many folks to thanks so often. I love this list (ummm heard that before, have you). I appreciate hearing from folks that have been there and done that since I have. Know my dad got embarrassed once trying to direct a funeral procession into a cemetery and nearly got us all lost (these were roads and fields he had worked and plowed as a youngster hiring out for work). Sometimes you get used to using only one road because it goes by another place or the pavement is better - makes you forget how to use other roads. This list get obits from multi sources, references from folks in dozens of states, researchers that would qualify as paid genealogists elsewhere, and a great list mom. Thanksgiving is in the air. Thank you BBB and all others. We are a blessed lot. . . B BB
Oh %#@?# - I opened it and knew better, even waited a day for two. So, I ck's my spam box too and found only one of our list buddies reply. To get someone off my spam list: open SPAM BOX, click UNSPAM. About year ago, 2 other list buddies post kept going to my spam and had to do it repeatedly then it finally stopped. Wilma Norton, thank you so much for the Chadwick info. There are things I did not have. This is my line--John Louther and Mary Melvina Daniel are my gggrands. I now have something to do for awhile checking it all out. I sent this once and it came back--so decided to try again. Thanks for your Thoughtfulness, Glenna G.
http://amicidelponte.it/to.php I got it too and just thought it was weird . . . . I opened it (internet drug supplier) because I knew sender. Really, my first thought was it was an error then I hoped their address book hadn't been hacked. . . . Don, I have her born Sep.30,1887 in Cannon, Tn. She had a twin Sister named Ada. . . I don't know much about either of them--just knew them--wasn't interested in genealogy when they were alive. Maybe Betty Mac or Mary Ann can straighten this out for us. Think I better start doing more on the Ok. Caruthers. As Glenda said, this was spam, and not from a particular list member. I would say that if you have any doubts, never click on any link that you don't know. I don't know how we are getting spammers through to our list, but I noticed some in the bounced messages who were definitely companies trying to get their product advertisements over to the list. It's a constant fight to keep the creeps from messing up a good thing!
