Hi Thank you for responding to my request. I'm sorry, I do not have a page number for the article I need. In searching the internet, I found the website for the Izard County Historical and Genealogical Society. There I found a list of the back issues of the Izard County Historian. In reading through the list, I found mention of memorial for Ray Ewell Davis. That is all it said. I have been searching for a very long time for my father's family, one of whom was a Ray Davis from Izard County. Thank you again for answering my request, and no, there have been no others. Ethel

In the book "The History and Families of Izard County, Arkansas" pg 126, it talks about the Hanks/Benbrook families. For those with access to "History & Families of Izard County", there is a sketch on page 175, with a picture of Lavoe and Emolene, seated in front of their 4 sons, Wade, Jim, Doyle and Larry. I have Lavoe's parents as Allen Alexander "Allie" Moster and Estella "Stella" Perryman. Allen traces back to the Mt. Pleasant area Mosers, his grandfather was John Jackson "Professor" Moser, born 1838 in Independence County. The sketch itself does not have any info on family ancestors, just the current family......hrb -------------------------------------------------- From: "Pat Foster" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, July 26, 2012 10:34 AM To: <[email protected]>; <[email protected]> Subject: [ARIZARD] Moser obituary--Fern > Hi Fern, > There was a Mosier/Moser that was good friends with some of the Russells. > I > have a picture of a lady with 2 of my aunts identified as 'Mosier.' Does anyone have a copy of the Izard County Historian, date October 1985, volume 16/4? There is an article about Ray Ewell Davis in that issue, and I believe he may belong on my family tree.
