Hi Wanda, Thanks for Cynthia's maiden name. I was having trouble placing her as a child of George Marriott. Do you have a list of the children of Lorenzo Dow Kizzia? Find-A-Grave also has Sarah_ Kizziar_ Marriott, b. 1861 Oil Trough, Independence Co. AR, died 1907, buried in Evergreen Cemetery, San Jacinto, TX, the same cemetery where Lorenzo Dow Kizzia is buried. Two of Sarah's daughters, Myrtle and Alma and Timothy M. Marriott give the name Sarrah Ann_ Kizzar_ Marriott. We think that Timothy M. Marriott (1856 - 1946) is the son of John T. and Mary Matilda (Shadrick) Marriott, but can't prove it. Timothy M. Marriott's death record does not list parents. We're glad that you are still researching. Hester was my dad's first cousin. Would love to have remembered her. I have heard that we stayed with her when I was very little, while dad was away in WW II, and she always wondered about me, when my mom and I moved away. Hi June; yes I do remember the discussion. Lettie Haggard Gillihan was the sister of my ggrandmother, America Haggard Kizzia. Their mother, Nancy Sarah Mason married first Samuel B. Haggard and after his death, Sarah married Leroy Kizzia. As usual, my family likes to make things interesting--intermarriage--name spelling variations. I think it has helped/made me look at data very closely and to keep an open mind. wanda ________________________________ From: June Ramsey <junebug@centurytel.net> To: arizard@rootsweb.com Sent: Mon, August 30, 2010 5:37:27 AM Subject: Re: [ARIZARD] Marriott/Martin Kizzia-Dobbs correction Wanda good to see you on.
