    3. Janice & Fern: I tried both suggestions; couldn't find "remove space after paragraph", and when I tried the "Control and 1" it didn't work. I might add that if I am typing a sentence, it automatically goes to the next line and doesn't do the double spacing between lines; but when I am typing a census record and hit "enter", then it does the automatic double space between lines. 3. Are you talking about spacing between the lines or words? If it is lines you have two options. Change you line spacing on the ribbon or or click on the end of your line and go to remove space after paragraph. (at the very end of your line spacing tool) Just learning this program this year in school. When I bought my new computer it came with Windows 7 installed. I don't like it as well as I did Windows 2000XP.
