My computer 'says'XP, but after it crashed and was restored, Outlook is one of the items that no longer works. I can't even use the "Search" mode for items I know are still in it's '********' memory circuits. It's so frustrating.!!!! Harold, so very glad your info was saved, what would I do without your Pierson/Pearson info, & more. g.
Betty, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May God's amazing love surround you and your family during this time. Love and Blessings, Betty Hutson

Marsha, Could the relationship with the Taylor's to Lyndon Johnson have been through his wife Lady Bird? She was a Taylor. Glenda, I've know about a couple like Zachery Taylor and Benjamin Harrison, but not five - would love to know more. I don't get on the internet everyday, but haven't been since the weekend because as my daughter-in-law put it, I've been on this "not the best way to lose it diet". It lasts several days but I've caught up on my sleep! Thanks for any info. Today I came into possession of 7 old pictures. One of them is dated 1920. The others I would say are from 1900 to 1920. They are actually pictures that were on the backs of postcards. One has a lady with a huge hat, and on the back it says "Eastern Photo Post Card Co. - 2104 E. 12th St., Kansas City, Mo." I think the others were probably made in Kansas, also. One picture is of a little boy and little girl and on the back of it says: David Horn, 4 years 5th of April 1920...Enid Horn 3 years 9th of July 1920. Taken in July. From Lorenzo to Birdie." I have found The Lorenzo Horn family in 1920 and 1930. Another one is of a small child and it has written on the front "With Love to Aunt Lottie & Uncle John. From Peggy. Age 9 mo. 7 da." Another one shows an older man and woman (long skirt) and young boy, prob. in early teens. One is a picture of a small child in a high chair; on the back it says, "Leo H." Another one is a baby, maybe 18 mo. to 2 yrs.. On the back is "Wonderland Post Card Studio, 1206 Grand Ave., Kansas City, Mo.", and the last one is a group of people in front of a house, and on back is a letter to Mrs. William Parrish, Mulberry, Kansas. It is postmarked at Stevens Port, Wis. Oct. 15, I cannot make out the year. It is signed "Winifred". It was taken of "Yvonnes Birthday party". If anyone would be interested in seeing these, they can let me know and I will scan and send to them. Betty Mc
Found information on the Locust Grove Cemetery, located near St. Francisville, West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. Only 21 persons buried there but several of note and one is Sarah Knox Taylor Davis daughter of President Zacarah Taylor and wife of President Jefferson Davis. Have still not been able to locate exact birth location for Sarah Taylor? Don
Thanks Glenna, It is difficult to pin down her birth and death locations with both her father and husband being very active in military career. I guess the only question on where she died is in which parish the Locust Grove Plantation is located. I will work on that.
