Not sure of place of birth, Arkansas or Missouri. There's an Etta R. Burge buried in the Barren Fork Cemetery but can't find anything to prove this is the correct Etta and don't know for sure is she married Burge.

    3. I haven't been on much lately, still trying to get my daughter's belongings integrated into my house, and do we have a great big MESS!!! We're stripping wallpaper & painting rooms to make them more in keeping with full-time '?' guests needs. Some rooms I hadn't done anything with since I moved in over 11 years ago, so I guess it's about time. Nice to have the extra hands to help me out, I can tell you! We've inherited a neighbor's cat. Belonged to her son who moved out, and she doesn't seem interested in it's upkeep any longer. I don't mind having a good mouser around, and he is a very gentle tom. My gdau is 'in love' with him. I was interested in reading about Cher's connection to Wiseman, am going to have to ask mom if she can remember Cher's mom. About Porter Wagoner; his show was a must watch program for my mom when I was a kid. I don't remember Dolly being so 'chesty' way back then, but as a small kid, I didn't care about a person's looks, as much as I did about enjoying the show. I still love Dolly's singing, and enjoyed the few movies I've seen her in, most were just plain FUN. Well, back to my morning iced tea, and then on to more stripping of that nasty old wallpaper, I swear the previous owners killed a dozen horses for every square foot. I think I'd rather replace the sheetrock, bet it would be a much faster option, couldn't be any messier! You'all take care, and enjoy yourselves. gen

    3. Jim, Sometimes my elevator doesn't always go all the way to the top - but I do believe they were related, just need to figure out how. Dad did say that, but he would have known better too. They were cousins someway - Speck even agreed to that, but didn't want to discuss it. He wasn't the friendliest and Dad could talk to anyone, just wished he hadn't that particular time. Porter Wagner and Dolly Parton and the band, along with several other entertainers were at the Tulsa Civic Auditorium and we were helping MC the show. Dad was backstage and visiting with them all. Was there a Richard Rhoads/Rhodes connection anywhere in your familytree? He is Louisa's Dad. Don't you just think we're all related around Izard County? Even the ones whose elevator's don't go all the way to the top? Sorry for the confusion........... Sometimes I just can't spell.  My email address is kingdome@suddenlink.net By the way, I have found that the mybigmail site will allow 5 downloads of the file I placed there a few hours ago.  If needed, I can certainly post it there again (and again) if needed. 1. [ARIZARD] Prosperity download - new option
    2. Marsha Boles
    3. http://www.filefront.com/17484220/Prosperity.exe I just checked the download from FileFront and the file downloaded in less than one minute!  However, after you save the file to your hard drive, you will need to rename the file to make it work.  The file name as downloaded is “prosperity”.  To rename it so that it will work, just add  “.exe” to the end of the name so that it will look like this “prosperity.exe”.  Then double click it and you are off and running.  Please let the rest of ARIZARD know about this foible. Thanks Tom King

Lonnie L. Thomason born in Indian Territory in 1892 md Mary Woodley in 1910 at Okmulgee. My info shows his parents were Flem A. Thomason & Nancy Wilson. Mary Rosa Soden daughter of Charles Thomas Soden and Mary Ellen Payne md James Luther Chadwick. Mary "Rosa" Soden & James Chadwick's daughter Leona Maye md Paten Thomason. Don't remember where I got his name. Hadn't noticed the decrease in Arkansas marriages.I noticed the Beta change but this morning it looked like it always did. Just checked and I see what you're talking about, down to 1944. Wonder why that date. Maybe a little like me, I decided to stop coping obituaies after 1960 because it wasn't "history" any more. ============ > Vera, I've been missing seeing you on here.
