I hope I can butt in here and correct some of this. As you may or may not know, my maiden name is Younger and I have studied them very closely. First of all - Adeline Lee Younger was the daughter of Charles Lee Younger and his common law wife, Parmelia Dorcus Wilson. Their children were named in his will and given the right to the Younger surname. Adeline Lee Wilson/Younger married James Lewis Dalton, Jr. on March 12, 1851 in Jackson Co. MO. James was a farmer and a known horse gambler. Their children, Bob, Grat and Emmett were members of the notorious Dalton Gang. Secondly, Cole (Thomas Coleman) Younger, never married and had no children that he claimed, at least. It has been rumored that he fathered a child with Belle Starr, but he denied it. I haven't researched the Dalton Family, so can't comment on them.
