    3. I talked to Kermit again this week and am gradually getting some questions answered when I can think to ask them!! I asked him about the oldest of John M Russell and his vanHook wife, Kansas Anzoleth--I don't know if that spelling is correct, maybe half way??? She's only in a census or two so it was hard to go from there without knowing anything. She is "Dink" Pough in the Hand Cemetery, I believe. So, if anyone has any Poughs in their family, please double check the person they married. I want to make sure to get more info about her. I'm sure Santa must be packing his sleigh and NORAD will be tracking him on Christmas Eve as that UFO goes across the sky! Those Izard/Baxter County folks might overload him this year! Pat Foster

The site is hawkmoon3.tripod.com/rodens.html .   If you can't find it that way, go to web search under Elkanah Rowden and look on page 1 for Roden Chronolougue.    Also Jean, there are several Mayfields mentioned for witnessing  things in 1700 to early 1800's and it shows a William Mayfield as a lawyer.  Glenna Goodwin

    3. Vera, Kermit says he agrees that is probably Anderson's first wife. They had 4 young children when she died. I don't know about spelling for this first one. He pronounced it like: Adra--with a long 'a' sound at the front, like aid. Claude who married a Ruth. Claude had a son named Charlie who died in Kansas in the last year or so. Dora--he didn't tell me anything about her. And Charlie--due to Sarah's death, Tom and Sally raised Charlie. This Charlie married a Sherry Thompson. These may not be spelled exactly right but maybe someone knows them??
