    2. Junebug
    3. Good Morning to every one. Hope, you haven’t melted, and able to drank a cup with me this morning.getting around like a snail. Ha! Ed and I had our 56ths Ann Fri. Are we getting old or what? Could be worse. Just thankful to have another Ann. together. We walk ever morning and we have got this morning to go. Ed watered again yesterday in the back yard. Thing’s are burning up. Folks (like Tommie and Karen) with cattle are beginning to feel it for sure The hay is going to be hard to come bye. Folks won’t get the second round if something don’t happen, and it don’t sound like it will. Wish every one a good Sunday, and try to stay cool. God Bless all the sick, shut in’s, and service folks. Love Ya! Junebug

I moved Easter weekend back to Tulsa from Texas and my computer only caught up with me this weekend because it had virus and was in shop when I left. My daughter and granddaughter brought it to me on Wednesday. I had a heart procedure on Thursday, June 21st at the Okllahoma Heart Institute in Tulsa. During my visit here to a new doctor he disscovered I had irregular heartbeat and sent me to heart specialist. Further tests confirmed that I had heart "flutter." The lower part of heart was good but flutter was at top. The procedure is called "Ablation" and they injected dye so could check all of heart, then repaired flutter by laser. Iti is an out-patient procedure and they put me to sleep. The only "slit" was made in the lower groin area and I was breathing better right afterward. People in the waiting room were remarking that my doctor (Cogert) has successes that even better than Mayo Clinic. Am looking forward to reading all my e-mails and finding out what you all have been up to since the end of March ... 3. The regular price of the family finder dna test is $289. They just had a sale in April that was $100 off the regular price and they sent coupon to all that had taken the Test in late May that was $100 off. Someone there said they sometimes have a sale in late Summer. Go to familytreedna.com and check it out. Earl D. 3. Several years ago we did a DNA with a member of our family for 30 markers....which is the minimum.  At that time it was $150.  I don't know if the costs have gone up or not.  But I am sure the 60 marker is more costly and that is the one I would suggest.  Another member of the family updated ours to 60 markers, but I never knew the cost of that. 3. Does anyone know if the Nebo Cemetery will ever be maintained again, or will it be left to nature? We visited it just a couple of weeks ago, and noticed two things, one, after the 'ice storm' cleanup, many of the 'stones' had been dragged away from their earlier locations, and two, it was about waist high in weeds. Dad was thinking of putting up a memorial stone commemorating the Pierson family members buried there, but if the cemetery is going to be let go fallow, we're thinking the cost of such a large stone would be a waste. Does anyone on the arizard list have any idea? Thanks, gen

    3. Back in the 60's, wasn't the radio tower on top of Pilot Knob? Grandpa could only get one radio station that played the Cardinals. I thought he was a Cardinal fan, when he really loved the Dodgers. gen --- On Wed, 6/20/12, [email protected] <[email protected]> wrote: > From: [email protected] <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: [ARIZARD] Pilot Knob > To: "Vera Reeves" <[email protected]>, [email protected] > Date: Wednesday, June 20, 2012, 4:24 PM > Hi Vera...when I was in high school > in Salem...(many,many years ago) there was a ceme. very > close to down town square and we would climb Pilot Knob, > also very close to town square...dont remember the names and > I was only there for a few months.
