Merry Christmas to each of you! Pat, in this "family" there are no stupid questions! :) The one thing retirement is affording me is time to get back to family research. I am beginning to fill in more of the blanks now. Especially, with the findagrave tool. What an amazing project this is! For some reason, I have really spent the afternoon catching up on sleep. Sometimes, it's nice to just have a let down, after all the preparations! Yes, Pat, I guess it has been that long since the list first started. Where have all those years gone? !! Nice that you were able to connect with Junebug, and I hope you can make more connections when you come again. We all have so much to be thankful for, even when at times we face adversity, and I pray that as 2014 approaches, each of you will have good health and your share of happiness and peace. Blessings to all, Jean C At 07:49 PM 12/24/2013, you wrote: >To each of my fellow listers I wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A VERY HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR. No matter how busy I get or how sad I feel at times, I know I and my family have been so blessed in so many ways during this year. I hope each of you can say the same. Momma Jean we are so happy to have you back with us. Thank you for your time and efforts and always your encouragement. I wish you a very happy and rewarding retirement. I wish I could meet more of you folks, so far only Junebug has had to put up with me personally, but hopefully next spring I can make more rounds. Only time will tell. And as I think of Vera how we all miss her and of course Berrnie. So many changes in these past 14 years (its been that long hasn't it). Thanks to each of you for your patience with me and my very stupid questions at times I am dense I admit. But all of you are so helpful and kind, thanks all of you. Again Merry Christmas dear friends and God Bless each and everyone.! Pat Snowy Easterrn Oregon

Good Morning to all you great folk’s out there nothing like drinking coffee with all my friends ,and family out there this morning. Was having my first cup and watching the news on this another Christmas. Counting our Blessings , and thinking about all the folks that aren’t as fortunate as we are. My family will be together here tonight for “supper” All the family will be here, but our grandson Shannon in Al. He was here for Thanksgiving. and a granddaughter in NC. There are so many things happening, and even the weather is so bad a lot of folks can’t travel, and so many natural disasters with the weather. It is cold 28 here, but at least the roads are ok to get out. We had a “dusey” of a snow earlier, and stayed on for several days. Sum it all up we are lucky to have our bunch together. There is one I really miss is our Vera. My thoughts goes out to her family and there are many more we have lost since last yr. May God Bless all the the families that lost a loved one or good fiend. Life goes on for we never know the time or the hr. Even my kitty cats likes the good warm house this morning. Didn’t stay out long. Had a yard full of deer late yesterday looking for some green grass and acorns. Well guess I better warm up the coffee and start getting my ducks in a row for “When the gang gets here”Ha! LOVE YOU All !! The Junebug still able to crawl. Ha!
Jean, I was able to open the new one that you sent out. Have just spent the last 2 hrs making cookies and reading this. This gives me more background of places mom talked about. Also a little reference to the Livingstons, Ware, and Dixon's that I need to find the connections for. Thanks againfor sharing and let me wish you and yours a Merry Christmas. Hi Wilma, No, each one I sent was sent to the individual person.
