Batesville Guard By Clyde McGinnis 21 July 1911 Monday was the birthday anniversary of J.W, "Uncle Jimmy" SIX, the veteran justice of the peace of this township,and it marked the 78th milestone of the grand old man's journey through life. Uncle Jummy is truley a pioneer of this county., having spent practically all his life whithin the borders of Independence County, No better hertiage could be allotted to the young men today then to be allowed to reach the age of SQUIRE SIX and still retain the esteem and great regard with which Uncle Jimmy is universally held by his every acquaintance. His many friends wish him many happy returnes of the occasion.
