Hello Fellow Genealogists, I am needing an actual copy of the marriage record of Benjamin F. Volner to Mary Ellen Lassiter which took place on Feb. 14, 1874 in Independence County Does anyone have access to the actual marriage records in Ind. Co.? The following was sent to me from a cousin, but she can no longer find her copy of the record: "The marriage was in a transcribed marriage book for Independence County, Arkansas. It showed the marriage as 14 Feb 1874 in Independence Co., Arkansas (married by by F. A. Mathis) to Mary E. Lassiter (age 14 at marriage). Marriage license lists name as “BENJAMIN F. VOLNER”. The abstract did list the name of the person that married them as F. A. Mathis and listed Mary's age as 14. There must be a record in Independence County. If anyone has access to and can get me a copy of the marriage record, please let me know. I am willing to pay for the copy. Thank you, Bonnie L.
