I found something odd yesterday. According to the book "Confederate Soldiers Buried in Arkansas" by Rena Marie Knight, my g-grandfather P.J. Young is buried in Batesville Cemetery, Independence County. The odd part is that I visited his grave and took a picture of the stone at Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Sidney in Sharp Co. Ms. Knight lists a number of source materials for this compilation, but no way to determine exactly where her info about P.J. came from. I don't doubt that this is the same person, my research shows that he was the only P.J. Young in the area who died January of 1920. Does anyone have the Greens' book handy to see if this is where she found this? It was listed as a source...
