I wonder if they didnt end up in White county??. I dont know and neither does anyone else in the family that Ive spoken to which is quite a few folks.According to the 1910 census he lived in Independence county though the wife Im interested in had passed some years earlier probably 1892 or so. This is what I believe to be James Burgess Scoggins death record SEE BELOW though Im not sure. Mary Proffit and James wed in MO. though I cant locate the record this is what the elder generations have said and census data does put them there so no marriage would be present for them in AR. Name: Burgess Scoggins Death Day: 10 Death Month: Dec Death Year: 1915 County: Independence Volume Number: 62 Roll Number: 19141923 Certificate Number: 611 I am also looking for a marriage presently between Edward also possibly called John Anderson and Grace unknown happened probably White county in circa 1920 -24 .
