I'm trying to track them down on the 1880 census with no luck.... A possible clue, his middle name may have been Henry and he may have gone by that. A relation at the reunion had a pic of "Henry Holland, brother to Uncle Bob"... and John is the ONLY one I didn't have a middle name for. John was age 12 on the Izard County, Rocky Bayou census, with his father William Holland (Hollen) and step mother, Margaret Catherine "Katie" Fulks. That's the last I can find him. Only other thing I know is he and Mary Elizabeth Harwell were the parents of William Thomas "Tom" Holland, Sr. b: abt 1884 in AR. This is according to the death certificate of Tom. Tom lived in Calhoun Co, TX with his grandfather William M. Holland, Sr. and 4th wife, Nancy Jane Winkle Hughey Fullbright Holland... Then Tom went to Hill County, TX, where William Sr. went... and is buried there. He and wife Ida Lee Franks married in McLennan Co, TX (Waco) Oct 2, 1905. 1930 Census shows Tom Holland's family: W. Tom, 43, AR, AR, AR, Ida L. (Franks), 45, KY, KY, KY W. Lewis, 19, TX, AR, KY Mildred, 17, TX, AR, KY Johnie L., 12, TX, AR, KY Exa L., 10, TX, AR, KY W. Tom Jr, 7/12, TX, AR, KY and a niece Mary L., 16, TX, TX, TX W. Tom Holland, Jr. supposedly went to OK and became a radio announcer. I also have a daughter Mary b: abt 1907 who married Fred SPANN. Note for Mary says she had no children. Jessie Holland b: abt 1909. Has several children. William Louis Holland b: abt 1911 md: Ruby WEST Exa Lee Holland b: abt 1920 md. Mr. WEBB in Hillsboro, Hill Co, TX, buried in Hillsboro. Mildred Holland b: abt 1913 md. Tom STORY and died in San Antonio, TX. Would love to find a descendant of this group... or any other tidbits of info. Thanks, Diana Holland Calderon _________________________________________________________________ More photos; more messages; more whatever.
