They are William Martin b. about 1814 in Tennessee Mary ??? b. about 1827 in Missouri married before 1845. Children were: John Martin b. about 1845 in Greene Co., AR Henry K. Martin b. about 1847 in Greene Co., AR George W. Martin, Sr. b. June 10, 1849 in Greene Co., AR married Nancy Jane Burress in Independence Co. AR on September 10, 1876, married Matilda Ann Burress Independence Co., AR on November 24, 1884. Sarah Ann Martin b. about 1854, married Francis Marion Martin September 20, 1874 in Independence Co., AR Jesse Martin b. Jue 19, 1859 Willis M. Martin b. about 1861 Alfred C. Martin b. about 1863 Nancy Jane Martin b. April 1869 married Silas Allender on September 11, 1892 in Independence Co., AR Lewis Martin b. about 1872 married Maude Elms on October 21, 1906 George W. Martin is my g-grandfather, moved to Texas with his youngest son, Alfred M. Martin and wife Rebecca Choat Martin. Haven't found where George or Rebecca are buried. Alfred remarried to a Willie Cross in Raymondville, Willacy Co., TX in 1944 and is buried in Bagota, Red River County, TX but George or Rebecca are not in Red River County.
