Vicki, Thanks for your response. Don't think Enoch is a part of my Anderson family. But, at this point, I'm not ruling out anything. Have had great luck tracing most family names back to the 1700's and, for most, to a specific location in England or Germany. John Anderson is the exception. Arkansas has no birth or death record for him. It is almost like he never existed. Have an old family bible record that lists him as having lived in Cord, AR. Also, he had siblings. I believe it was two brothers and a sister. Will dig out those records. Do not have their names now. Will be visiting AR next week and will pick up all remaining records from my parents. They are in their late 80's but still alive and well. Thanks.
