    2. Bob, You're right, there is not much on WITTER, except the William Witter line, which I haven't been able to connect with yet. (that is why I was bold enough to ask for any WITTER, I know there are never very many. THERE IS a WITTER in Bradford Co., PA., an Elias, who may be the son of Parke WITTER of the William Witter family. That may be your Pennslvania WITTER connection. I cannot connect with this family yet, maybe someday. I am working on Gr Grandfather Elias Morgan WITTER of Madison County AR. Information says he was born in AR in 1852 and I am searching for that place and the name of his parents. I did find a Jahalum WITTER, age 17, in 1850 Independence PA Census. I now need to know where he is in 1860. Thanks for your interesting story. I'll keep it just in case....
