I am respectfully asking that those folks who own my books, Marriages of Independence CO, AR Book E, F, G, or H (and thank you so much for purchasing them) refrain from doing look ups for other people using my books. Anyone who has spent time looking at microfilm of old records can verify the statement that it is a LOT of work and a lot of time and money was spent doing it. I also own the Indep Co AR Marriage books A thru D. I've practically worn the cover off that book by another compilor and it has been worth more to me than what I paid for it. I'm in the process of reprinting my books and I'd be happy to talk to anyone who is interested in them. And BTW, I usually give at least one free lookup to those who ask especially if I see by looking in the index that there is only one of that surname, and I will tell them exactly how many of each of the surnames they are interested in that occur in my books. I don't like buying books that aren't useful to my research either. Any! one in the Little Rock, AR area wi ll find a copy of my books at the Arkansas History Commission to use without cost.
