HI, I';m also trying to locate Barren Township! Joseph Luckey and his family are on the 1860 census in Barren town ship, post office Cuna. He purchase land in the NENW, 26 section 15-N section 6-W range, No , 5th PM. - Whereever that is!!! He died in May of 1867 and is buried there somewhere. His wife brought the family back to her home in Gibson Co TN in a covered wagon. I have a cousin who wants to find his grave, so if anyone could help with the location of their land it would really help us!! We're assuming he's buried on their land, or at their church some where close by. Thanks! Teri
